James Franco is Directing Seven For All Mankind's Spring Ad Campaign!

Fairchild Archive
The last time we caught up with James Franco, he was modeling custom suits for Gucci. For his next project, the actor (and writer/director/artist/photographer) is spearheading Seven For All Mankind's forthcoming spring campaign.
“For me, it’s an excuse to be creative," Franco told WWD about the opportunity. "They’re giving me a lot of freedom."
The series of ads will feature a group of well-known celebrities and models enjoying a carefree California lifestyle. "It’s a more natural kind of approach," James said. "It’s not a heavy-handed fashion world sell-job."
Shooting starts on December 11th in L.A. and will hit magazines in March. Exact details are being tightly guarded until filming is finished, but if Franco is in charge, we know it's going to be good. From amazing teen drama (we love you Freaks and Geeks!) to insightful indie flicks, he hasn't let us down yet.
