Jean Paul Gaultier by Mikli Eyewear: A Stripe for Sore Eyes

Alain Mikli International
Parisian sunglass maestro Alain Mikli is perhaps best known for his futuristic, Kanye-West-approved "shutter shades," but in his new collaborative capsule with longtime friend and fellow Frenchman Jean Paul Gaultier, he's giving those signature stripes a new lease on life.
Featuring 20 styles in total, the collection's logo-less optical and sunwear styles bear striped, stacked arms reminiscent of Gaultier's famous Breton tops. Gaultier has been celebrated for his body-conscious creations for the likes of Madonna and Lady Gaga, so we're sure the collective star power of this Gallic design duo will make their slatted shades a hit with the celeb set.
The side-striped sunnies will be available at Alain Mikli stores at the start of the new year, ranging from $285 - $400 per pair. Be sure you're the first in line—pun intended—to snatch 'em up!
