Versace Reclaims Time Slot on the Couture Calendar

Fairchild Archive
It's been a pretty great month for Donatella Versace. Not only is her forthcoming Versace for H&M collection sure to sell out the instant it hits the racks this November 19, but her Italian fashion house is returning into the world of couture, too.
According to WWD, the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture (who decides exactly which designers are permitted to call themselves "couture") have announced that Versace will occupy the very first time slot during Spring 2011 Haute Couture Week in Paris. We can't wait to see what Donatella sends out on that runway on January 23, as her label hasn't shown couture since 2004.
