For me, this is THE moisturizer. I've been using it since I was in college. I don’t know how, but this one feels light and non-greasy, but still rich. Light lotions can be as effective as heavy ones, so opting for something super heavy isn’t the solution. Unless of course, you prefer a heavier one.

This one that has retinol in it—it’s anti aging, anti acne all around skin-improving. It doesn’t feel greasy or sunscreen-y at all. Who wants to be reminded of a beachy scent during the winter? It’s too depressing.

I always switch up my toner situation when it gets cold. Stay away from anything with harsh alcohol.  This light mist is moisturizing and as the name suggests, it’s smells like fresh lavendar. Spritzing this on is probably my favorite morning activity, aside from ferocious coffee drinking.

Watch yourself with those deeply purifying masks. The ones we use to clear up breakouts are way too harsh for when your skin is dry. This one still clarifies, but it’s soothing and moisture restoring too—perfect!

When I was a kid, my mom was all about the humidifier in the bedroom. It helped my little lungs breath at night. But it also keeps moisture in the air and in turn, prevents you from drying out. Mine is in the shape of a penguin…thanks, mom!
