Doutzen Kroes and Armani Exchange Design a Shirt for World AIDS Day
We're huge fans of Armani Exchange's latest collaboration with Doutzen Kroes. Not only will the graphic t-shirt totally steal the spotlight with a pair of distressed jeans (or as check-me-out workout wear), it also shines light on AIDS awareness.
In an Angel-ic move (sorry, we couldn't resist), the Victoria's Secret model lent her time and energy to pose for and promote the $35 tee. All profits go to dance4life, which uses dance and music to educate youth about AIDS prevention. The organization uses a fun approach to tackle something serious, and so does this shirt: like that iconic Bruce Springsteen album cover, it's cheeky and aggressive in just the right way.
And what will Doutzen be wearing this year, other than the t-shirt, of course?
"All my Tom Ford! And I'm always obsessed with Alaïa, especially the shoes. I recently bought a pair of his shoes that tie all the way to my mid-calf. I couldn't stop wearing them, and I totally ruined them. I'm so upset with myself!"
Luckily, this slim-fitting t-shirt will only get better– and softer– with wear. Shop it here.
