Oscar de la Renta Introduces Stationery

In collaboration with tony NYC stationer Mrs. John L. Strong, Oscar de la Renta just unveiled a paper goods collection.

Like his clothes, the stationery is polished and pretty. (And yes, expensive: ranging from $50-$125 for sets of 12 place cards, notecards or invitations. All available on Oscardelarenta.com,)

But also like Oscar’s clothing, the paper looks expensive, due to its heavy stock and gilded detailing. Impressive but not flashy, the stationery will surely woo many of Oscar’s typical customers this holiday season. After all, it makes a natural accessory for his tea-length dresses and full-skirted-frocks.

Beyond that, the paper goods also make pretty amazing gifts, as the sort of decadent detail you'd probably feel guilty buying yourself— but would love if someone else sent your way. You'll be sure get a (ridiculously beautiful) thank you note in return.
