Perfect Present: Vintage Hermès Scarves from Yoox.com

Just in time for the holidays, Yoox.com's unearthed a collection of vintage Hermès scarves that make easy presents for prepsters of all ages. Hermès proudly touts the 36 different physical ways to wear the silk squares (knotted on the handle of a bag, draped over one shoulder) and we think we could come up with a few more.

For something so distinctive, the scarves are totally malleable. While our grandmother might pair hers with low pumps and a prim blouse, our girlfriends would probably knot theirs over something more grungy, like distressed jeans and an oversize sweater. Which means that while the scarves are a bit of an investment, they're one that's actually wearable for life, unlike, say, those glitter booties.
