Inside H&M's Girl With the Dragon Tattoo Pop-Up Shop
Last night, we got a first look at H&M's Dragon Tattoo Collection by Trish Summerville pop-up boutique. Good news, Lisbeth fans: you'll find lots to love here. Appropriately placed at 72 Gansevoort Street in the industrial-cool, blustery Meatpacking District, the store space features distressed wooden paneling, a coffee shop and cyber café, and Salander-styled mannequins strung up with chains.
In between sipping mulled wine and test-driving the shop's on-site photobooth, we checked out the capsule collection in its entirety. The leather pieces, like a quilted-shoulder moto jacket and a denim topper with faux-calfskin sleeves, were definite highlights. And if you're obsessed with Lisbeth's edgy spiked earrings from the film, a mirror-image pair can be yours for under $4. While we browsed we also got to watch special extended trailers and clips from the upcoming David Fincher flick.
H&M's Dragon Tattoo pop-up will only be open from today through Friday evening (12 pm-10 pm daily), but the full collection is now available in Divided departments at H&M locations worldwide as well.
The aforementioned earrings sat next to stacks of flag-motif tees.
Off the chain—literally.
Accessories were displayed on worn wooden crates.
The texture-blocked jacket paired with Salander-approved sneaks.
That snood seemed to be one of the night's bestsellers.
