Karl Lagerfeld Gives Us a Sneak Peek at his New Collection—and Takes Over Net-a-Porter's Homepage

At the Parisian tech summit LeWeb yesterday, Karl Lagerfeld unveiled a video preview of his forthcoming lower-priced Karl collection, set to debut exclusively on Net-a-Porter on January 25. Check out the clip below, in which models Anja Rubik and Sui He shimmy and shake wearing some very Lagerfeldian metallic blazers and biker-inspired gloves. We're already lusting after those studded collars, which are incredibly on-trend for spring and will likely be among the less-costly items in the line.

To further up the anticipation surrounding Lagerfeld's latest venture, Net-a-Porter's landing page has been transformed into a Karl Countdown (Kountdown?). As you can see, a mere 49 days remain until we can snap up the Kaiser's less-pricey pieces. We have a feeling this wait's gonna be well worth it.
