Blog We Love: The Fresh Mani

You already know that we're all over this nail thang. But please give it up for our new favorite blogger, Chelsea Van Houten. Her beauty blog—The Fresh Mani—chronicles the tales of a city girl just trying to live her life, but never without a fresh manicure. She's got the glitter, the sparkle and the ombré down pat. And I didn't know that I even liked cute little bows until I saw her take on them. Her shots are so good that we've devoted an entire slideshow to her. Peep these crazy nails now!

The blue ombré mani.

WHAT! How cool is this gradiant rainbow of blue?

Trench Coat/Coffee Bean Mani

This is her "rainy day, wearing a trench coat to the Coffe Bean" mani. It's RGB Camel with black glitter and rainbow glitter on the tips for "extra sparkle." YES. Love this.

This is a result of Nail Art polish by Sinful Colors purchased at Rite Aid. She makes it look so easy! Essie Licorice is the base color.

Babydoll Bows

Here, she used the super opaque RGB White and had the bows done at Valley in NYC. Totes adorbs.

A Walking Christmas Present

Chelsea's take on holiday nails—you can't accuse this girl of not being festive enough. She got this mani at Valley on Elizabeth Street in NYC and it stayed fresh for two weeks.

Here she used Essie's'Bahama and claims that she'll add a gold french mani tip when she gets bored. Good idea! And where'd you get that rug, girl?

Two of our favorite things: Chanel Peridot and magazines. As always, The Fresh Mani makes it all look so fun.

Focus on THAT. Such a cute shot featuring Essie's Sew Psyched.

Pretty hardcore. The dark nails with the motorcycle jacket. Vroom.
