Cuticles Are A Problem. We Have the Solution.

There's so much to worry about when it comes to our hands. Nails can grow out of control. Manicures require time that no one has. Then after a few short days, they begin to chip. So much maintenance! But cuticles—they are the worst! What are they? Why are they even there? Why are they so dry during winter? We’ve put a lot of thought into this for you, so you won’t have to worry about those cuticles anymore. Actually, Jean Godfrey-June did. Because Jean knows everything about everything.

Jean’s golden rule: “Never cut them, push them back with a towel or washcloth when you've just stepped out of the shower if you feel simply must have "less cuticle.” She also recommends putting on lots of balm whenever they feel dry—this lemon one from Burt's Bees is the office favorite. If there’s a balm shortage, you can use warm melted candle wax as a substitute. I love playing with candle wax, so tending to cuticles is suddenly a lot more fun (and cheaper) than I thought it would be.

So the next time an R&B song prompts you to throw your hands up in the air, you can do so proudly. Guys, let me know how it goes.
