DIY: Chanel Couture Tights Edition

In last week’s Chanel couture show, the models wore gorgeous outfits in every shade of blue imaginable, paired with super rad jeweled tights. Oh Karl, if only I could afford an entire look….but I can’t. Check out how I managed to channel my Chanel inspiration...right onto my favorite pair of tights.

Step 1: First you must choose a pair of tights. In the Chanel couture show, models wore nude tights. However, I opted for a subtler pair of black tights.

Step 2: I chose to glue on my rhinestones, so I had to purchase hot-fix crystals and a hot-fix applicator. I found the best deals on Amazon.com.

Step 3: Before studding the tights, put them on and use a white pencil (mine's from Nars) to mark where you want to set the stones.

Step 4: Insert a piece of cardboard in each leg hole to avoid gluing your tights together. Once you do this, start setting the stones. Make sure to let the tights cool off before putting them on. And voila!
