First Look: David Beckham Designs Bodywear for H&M
When we first heard whispers of a David Beckham x H&M bodywear line, we immediately imagined the ad campaign possibilities. Yesterday, after months of anticipation, the Swedish retailer finally released images of the soccer player in his self-designed skivvies.
Thanks to those gorgeous Armani ads, we're accustomed to seeing shots of Beckham stripped down. However, this is the first time we've seen him in his own designs...and we think it's a solid debut. We'd definitely buy some of these items for the men in our lives, and maybe steal a few things for ourselves.
The nine-piece collection boasts four types of underwear: boxers priced at $12.95 and woven boxers, trunks and boxer-briefs for $14.95. All the styles are available in white, black and gray. A trio of tops (a short-sleeve tee and tank, each available for $14.95, and a henley costing $29.95) is also included, plus pajama bottoms and long johns, which cost $29.95 each. Everything has an exclusive “David Beckham Bodywear for H&M" label designed by Alasdhair Willis (aka Stella McCartney's hubby) and hits stores February 2.
