See a 2012 Version of Cher's Virtual Closet From Clueless
It's been 17 years since Clueless came out and we're still jealous of Cher Horowitz's computerized closet. (And that cute yellow plaid mini skirt suit it picked out for her.) The Beverly Hills shopaholic's version will forever be a one-off product, but FaceCake Marketing Technologies company has made a similar product for the 21st century shopper. (Thanks for pointing it out, Papermag.com!)
The "Swivel" dressing room is a Microsoft Kinect application that allows users to virtually try clothes on their body, with the help of a simple video camera. Then—after pulling together a, like, totally bitchin' look—you choose a backdrop, take a picture and share it with your friends. Watch the video below to see the program in action. And, beneath that, get inspired with a clip from everyone's favorite '90s movie.
