Cute New Children's Brand: Ruum American Kid's Wear

We always love a new kid’s clothing line. In fact, we get so excited over J.Crew's Crewcuts that we often wish those little schoolboy blazers came in our size (and, in fact, one petite Lucky stafffer has been spotted in a Crewcuts sparkly sweatshirt). New line Ruum American Kid's Wear (pronounced “Room”), catering to the kid with personality to spare, is only adding to our kid's clothing envy. Not only are the ads full of adorable mini-models, but we'd make room for a lot of these items in our own closets. We love Ruum’s playful use of color: bright striped cardigans, snappy plaid cargo shorts and vibrant floral sundresses make the new collection pop. Launching online January 29 at Ruum.com and at select malls, the line's spirit is based on American classics—denim jackets, flouncy white lace and striped oxford shirts—all sized down to create a polished, playground-appropriate look. If your little prepster likes to keep it more casual, there are plenty of graphic tees and distressed jeans to keep him looking cool, too. With sizes spanning from newborn up to age 14 and sized from 0 to XL, plus affordable prices (baby items range from $10.50 for bodysuits to $22.50 for sweaters, girls range from $9.50 for leggings to $49.50 for sequin dresses, and boys range from $9.50 for solid crewneck tees to $49.50 for blazers), we're betting mom will take note. Check out a few more images below to get an idea of Ruum's fun vibe!
