Jamie Bell, Adrien Brody, Garrett Hedlund and More Hit the Runway at Prada
From the red carpet to the red-carpeted runway? It's not unheard of for celebs to pop up on the catwalk during Fashion Week—witness The Gossip's Beth Ditto walking for Jean Paul Gaultier or Kylie Jenner for Avril Lavigne's Abbey Dawn collection—but A-list dudes rarely do the same. Apparently, the lack of male celebs on the runway didn't sit well with Miuccia Prada.
At this past weekend's Prada menswear show in Milan, the designer tapped a handful of Hollywood leading men to model the clothes. Ranging from young stars like Garrett Hedlund, Emile Hirsch and Tintin's Jamie Bell to big-screen veterans like Gary Oldman, Adrien Brody and Willem Dafoe, Prada's cast certainly shook up the men's collections. We particularly liked Jamie's slick black-and-white ensemble and Adrien's matching red overcoat and shades. Any group of guys who can wear colorful brooches with such confidence earns our style vote.
From the tone of Jamie tweet's (@1jamiebell), the guys (whom the actor hashtagged throughout as his #motleygroupofbastards) had a blast moonlighting as models—though some worked harder than others at maintaining their sleek physiques. "#motleygroupofbastards eating pasta," Jamie tweeted at one point. "Garrett had a salad." Check out images from the show below.
