There is so much adorable baby clothing out there—it’s all too easy to get drawn in by the cute fabrics and designs. But conventional fabrics can have chemical finishes and dyes you really don’t want next to your baby’s skin.
Look for organic cotton or other safer, natural fibers like bamboo, soy and hemp. And, call manufacturers to learn if they use any chemical treatments or dyes. Here are my picks for Haven.
What are your favorite eco friendly baby clothes?
My favorite pajamas for babies are from Babysoy, which has a whole collection of newborn clothes made from natural azlon soybean fiber. These are the warmest, softest and coziest footy pajamas!
Onesies are an absolute baby wardrobe necessity. Kickypants are a super soft first layer for my baby under her "daytime" outfit.
There’s something about tiny baby socks that make my heart melt a little. And Petunia Pickle Bottom makes the best organic cotton ones with a brilliant rib at the top to keep them from slipping off (seriously, I lost so many when Honor was a baby, I must have left a trail wherever I went).
Sometimes simplicity rules and IMPS & ELFS makes the perfect organic cotton everyday staples.
