Lauren Conrad's Favorite Things

Our March cover girl Lauren Conrad has come a long way since her drama-filled days as a teenager on Laguna Beach and The Hills. As an expert blogger on Laurenconrad.com, a bestselling author (her latest novel, Infamous, the conclusion to her Fame Game series, will be released in June) and a chic role model, the former reality television star wears many hats. A graduate of FIDM, Conrad has thoroughly immersed herself in the fashion world, designing an affordable line for Kohl’s and a contemporary label, Paper Crown. Most recently, Conrad has teamed up with eco-friendly brand BlueAvocado. Her xo(eco) collection of reusable totes and makeup bags are made from recycled bottles, providing a snazzy way to reduce the carbon footprint left by plastic products. Read on to learn about Conrad's closet staples and the products she can't live without.

“I apply this to my hair in the morning after I get out of the shower," says Conrad. "It smoothes out my hair and keeps it healthy-looking. My hair is actually a little poofy, so I have to blow-dry and curl it. This conditioner protects it from all the styling I do.”
