Reformation x Spring & Clifton is Baja-riffic
One of our favorite bicoastal stores, Reformation, has teamed up with the knitwear experts at Spring & Clifton on a resort-ready line that perfectly embodies California skater/surfer cool.
Reformation's Yael Aflalo first began discussing collaboration possibilities with Spring & Clifton designer Michelle Zacks while the two were vacationing in Montauk last summer. Michelle was immediately inspired by a colorful baja jacket she'd discovered at a Hamptons surf shop and Aflalo—staying true to her brand's tradition of reworking vintage items—thought the piece would look great combined with panels of rugged leather and denim. The final lineup of mixed-material separates reflects the best of both designers' sensibilities. Sophisticated enough for a Lower East Sider but relaxed enough for an L.A. skater, these are accessibly-priced (think $85 - $300 each) pieces you'll want to live in.
The 10-piece lineup hits stores this week, so hit up either of Reformation's stores or thereformation.com to snag your favorites before they sell out. Below are some of our own top picks from the collab.
