It's my last day in California before heading back to chilly New York, so I figured I should take advantage of being able to wear shorts and light blouses. This little jacket is one of my all-time favorite Palm Springs thrift store finds.

During the work week, I spend most of my time in a studio. I live in structured button-up shirts and leggings, since they're the most comfortable things to move around in while shooting and changing the lighting. I screwed these silver collar tips onto my shirt—I can't stop adding them to every button-down I wear. And I'd been hunting for a varsity jacket for about a year until I found this one. It's one of my current favorite pieces.

I've recently embraced long dresses, and this is the first one that really changed the way I feel about them. It's got a built-in vest, and I found it at Grand St. Bakery, the only store in New York that rivals California vintage shops in terms of amazing selection and affordability. I never leave my place in the wintertime without a Jimmy & Maeve cowl, which I've draped on my bag here. It's a crucial outfit element, even though it's been a mild season so far.

I had an art opening to go to tonight, so I ran home after work to change. This long striped jacket is a favorite of mine. I always wear it with an all-black outfit since it makes such a statement on its own.

I just finished a long day of shooting on location, which either makes me want to change into pajamas and crawl into bed or dress up and do the whole "work hard, play hard" thing. Here, I chose the latter. These are my favorite sequined Suno pants—I feel pretty unstoppable every time I wear them.

It's an unusually warm January day—60 degrees—which is why I can pull off knee-highs. I'm heading to a big dim sum birthday brunch in Chinatown in my Upstate dress and velvet cape.

Heading out to get some breakfast and scout new shoot locations. I bought this polka-dot dress at my friend's pop-up sale, called "Miracles," which happens every couple of months. I'm also wearing my favorite Acne trench and some menswear-inspired patent leather lace-ups, a sharp and easy combo that's comfortable and classic.
