Ashley Greene Runs in Heels, Kisses Olivia Wilde and Knows She Needs a Stylist

The fifth and final installment of the Twilight saga, Breaking Dawn Part 2, doesn't hit theaters until next fall, but Ashley Greene—who plays vampire Alice Cullen throughout the series—is already planning her next career move. "Twilight has given me something to skyrocket off of," our March cover girl told us. "But now that it’s ending, there’s so much work to be done. And if I don’t do it, then Twilight’s all I’m ever going to be known for, as great as it is."

That go-getter initiative is as effective as it is admirable: the actress' latest list of projects includes ad campaigns for DKNY and DKNY jeans, a contract with Mark cosmetics and roles in the upcoming films The Apparition and LOL. Greene also costars in the kooky comedy Butter, which comes later this month, as a decidedly different character than her fans are used to. The new movie includes her first ever on screen kiss with another women, castmate Olivia Wilde.

"Olivia is such a cool chick and very professional," Greene says. "So we were just messing around and cracking up in between scenes, and it ended up being really fun. And now I’m the envy of every straight male everywhere!"

Although she is devoted to her work, the starlet has found a second passion: designer clothing. While she proudly admits to relying on celebrity stylist Cristina Ehrlich ("Listen, honestly, you don’t get sent L’Wren Scott if you’re just yourself."), there's no denying she has developed a signature style of her own, which usually includes towering heels. But the extra height isn't an issue for Greene; she has plenty of experience with uncomfortable footwear.

"When I took the modeling classes in Florida, they had us walk in crazy heels and do the whole runway thing," she confided in us. "And actually? That’s been very helpful, because I can walk and run in pretty much anything!"
