Brood Fall 2012: Prints, Peplums and High Pony Tails

Arno Frugier
The Scene: A pristeie, stark white gallery with a printed runway to match the collection.
The Look: A pretty blue and white palette, save for some gold lurex. Most notable this season was designer Serkan Serier's use of prints and his ability to take our favorite peplum trend to new heights. "I was looking at the work of two artists which seem visually very opposite, but their work is essentially about the same subject matter," he told me. "They're also working with the same style of art, but expressed differently, so I tried to work on a collection that merges two very opposite ideas into one cohesive idea."
The Pieces We Want: All peplum everything! And the collared print vest. The collection will be at Barneys!
