Lucky Listens: Anya Marina

Maybe I’m a little bit late to the game, but I can’t wait for Anya Marina’s self-produced album Felony Flats (out March 13). The Portland-based singer-songwriter is collaborating with some of the Northwest’s best musicians (Joe Plummer from Modest Mouse and Cody Votolato from Telekinesis).

We fell in love with Marina after her cover of T.I.’s “Whatever You Like” appeared on Gossip Girl in 2009. But if you missed out on that coquettish track, give "Felony Flats" a try.

Unsurprisingly, the songbird's style is just as cute as her voice, radiating a fun and flirty vibe despite her dreary Pacific Northwest surroundings. Listen to Notice Me, her first single, below and shop our Anya Marina-inspired gallery.
