Model Awards: Best Runway Walk!
Nyasha Matonhodze (here, backstage at Prabal Gurung) has THE best walk ever, bar none. Her posture is ramrod straight, her hips thwack from side to side in a way that’s more lithe-real-woman-rushing-to-get-across-town and less runway-model affected, and her gaze as she glides down the runway is more of a penetrating stare that could bore a hole in your head. She’s an imposing force—and at her absolute fiercest at Prabal Gurung (her ultra-straight hair, gorgeously shinified with Tigi Catwalk Weightless Shine Spray, made the image all the more striking as she charged forth) and at Cushnie et Ochs.
