Preen, J.W. Anderson and Mark Fast Collaborate With Aldo Rise on Amazing Shoes and iPhone Cases
Sadly, most runway footwear tends to be slightly-to-severely out of our budget. So we were thrilled to learn that the shoes worn on Preen, J.W. Anderson and Faster by Mark Fast's Spring 2012 catwalks were actually from the designers' forthcoming collaborations with Aldo Rise.
For the special capsule, which hits stores on March 8, Brit wunderkind J.W. Anderson's whipped up baseball-laced pointy pumps, some adorned with festive feathered heels. Meanwhile, Preen's Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi created chunky-heeled sandals in both solid hues and the label's dazzling pastel pixel print. And Mark Fast kept it simple, adding symmetrical slashes to sky-high platform pumps.
To complement their shoes, the three designers even created one-off iPhone cases covered with their signature patterns. After all, you've got to look sharp from gadget to ground.
Peep all of the Aldo Rise collaborators' shoes in the slideshow—all of which retail for just $155 each—and start picking your favorites before the collection's March 8 launch. And to help get you in the mood for warmer temps, check out the brand's accompanying video spot, shot by Barnaby Roper and starring the adorable Anais Pouliot.
