Shop the Trend: Ladylike Headbands
Headbands landed on our radar a few years ago when stylish girls became obsessed with Blair Waldorf's signature piece on Gossip Girl (this was just one of the many trends the show started—read about the rest here). After a couple seasons, the schoolgirl-inspired bands disappeared from the runways, replaced by messy topknots and sporty, slicked back hair.
This Fashion Month however, we've seen them re-emerge, looking—much like Queen B herself—all grown up. The styles are less preppy and more polished; designers have either opted for thinner bands or opulent embellishments to make the traditionally juvenile accessory look very adult.
