Pencil and tulip skirts are classics, but the shape that really made a splash on New York's fall runways was asymmetrically wrapped. From M.Patmos' clever "pas de deux" skirt to the quilted biker styles seen at Proenza Schouler, the modern wrap skirt made a major style statement. Despite its slightly off-kilter cut, this piece can be part of a totally balanced look.
