Barneys' New CO-OP Video is Shoppable and Musical
Rather than releasing a traditional paper-and-ink catalog, Barneys New York has opted to go the multimedia route to promote their Spring 2012 buy. Fashion photographer Daniel Jackson directed separate films for both guys and girls, in the form of style confessionals.
In the womenswear video, which you can check out right here, models dressed in amazing pieces from Carven, Isabel Marant, Derek Lam and more of Barneys' favorite labels tell jokes, share their NYFW foot injury woes, and discuss tattoos. We're also treated to a tap dance routine and a surprisingly catchy rendition of the children's ditty, "Boom Boom, Ain't it Great to be Crazy!"
Best of all, the entire clip is shoppable. All you have to do is click on the merchandise at the left of the frame, which corresponds to what each model is wearing, to buy it. Check out some of our favorite pieces from the campaign in the slideshow, and make sure you catch both videos at Barneys.com.
