Chanel Couture: Shop the Showgoers Looks
Chanel's haute couture show in Tokyo yesterday was beautiful, and so were the clothes on the celebs and editors in the audience. (It makes sense, because most of the outfits that got paparazzi-ed were Chanel, too.)
But unlike the runway models, the front row faces—Sarah Jessica Parker, Vanessa Paradis, Clémence Poésy—made the outfits a little more textured by mixing Chanel's boucle jackets and delicate dresses with their own pieces.
Click through the slideshow below to see what they paired their Chanel with, including bohemian pendant necklaces and frayed denim shorts. And shop similar, currently available items:
Never afraid of a challenge (enormous fascinators, tutu skirts) Sarah Jessica Parker tried out a bib dress—and made it look totally polished. Click through to shop her look.
Boucle jackets and cutoff shorts are tough but sweet. Like Sour Patch Kids. Click through to shop her look.
Something about the double cuff is a little bit punk, no matter how pretty the bracelets are. Click through to shop her look.
That peplum makes Vanessa Paradis's conservative black outfit kinda dramatic. Click through to shop her look.
Her giant pendant makes the sequin tunic more '70s and bohemian than New-Year's-Eve-dressy. Click through to shop her look.
Toss a cropped, chunky sweater over an old dress—even a frilly junior high relic—and it'll look cooler. Click through to shop her look.
