Lane Crawford's Runway Accessories Collection Hits Stores and Online Tomorrow

Starting tomorrow, Lane Crawford is celebrating its favorite high-end labels by launching a deftly-edited line of accessories seen on runways in New York, Paris, London and Milan. Comprised of 120 items from 40 fashion houses, "Invitation Défilé" or "Accessories of the Runway," will be available for six weeks in Blitz, the specialty store's concept space. (The shop also housed the company's Manolo Blahnik reissue last month.) Many of the pieces will be exclusive to the luxury retailer only (the rest will also be sold at designers' boutiques, but not at other department stores). Prices range between $89 and $7,729.

"We wanted to celebrate that creativity by putting it under a banner," Peter Harris, the president of Pedder Group—Lane Crawford’s sister company responsible for the store’s accessories and footwear collections—told WWD. "And, to a degree, to pay homage to those creatives who work around the designers."

The selection includes "Linda Farrow eyewear for Dries Van Noten, Alexander McQueen sculptural platform heels and headpieces, a Givenchy shoulder bag with gold metal chains and sari scarves with metallic trim by Thakoon." There will also be items by labels such as 3.1 Phillip Lim, Proenza Schouler and Erdem.

Fortunately, you don't need to plan an Asian vacation to snag one of the extra special products. Everything will be available on the Hong Kong retailer's website, Lanecrawford.com.
