Lanvin's New Book Makes a (Very) Generous Gift
Released last week, the coffee table book explores the creative process and production behind Lanvin's fall 2011 collection. In its 688 pages, no stone is left unturned, making it a very neatly focused, in-depth view into both Lanvin and the man behind the silk cocktail dresses, floral pins and chain strap handbags.
From now until April 1, the book's available online exclusively on Lanvin's site. At $450, it's a little more expensive than your average Kindle download, but it certainly makes an impressive gift. Like the brand's beautifully crafted clothes, the book just looks expensive, from the antique-y cover to the gilded, embossed pages. (And, of course, the heft. We did mention it's 688 pages, right?)
