Lucky Assistant Obsessions: Time to Accessorize
As Lucky assistants, we see it all. This week, we're obsessed with those little extras that take an outfit to the next level. Practical purses, snakeskin shoes, wayfarers: accesories that are anything but an afterthought.
Since the first day I emerged from New York's dark subway into the bright sunshine, sunglasses have been my must-have-at-all-times item. These Roberto Cavalli sunglasses are on my spring wish list, fitting right in with the retro '50s trend that was oh-so-popular on the runways this season.
I am obsessed with Stubbs. They are my go-to shoe every season. I wear the velvet ones in the winter and needlepoint in the summer. I've been obsessing over this leopard pair—they'll fit into my collection just perfectly.
Running from preview to office and office to preview, I'm always rustling through my handbag to find my camera, my Metro card, etc. To make things easier, I've invested in a "work" bag. This DvF handbag is structured and expandable, that way I can easily access my stuff.
These platform clogs are the perfect transitional shoe. And the color adds a new flavor to my normally neutral outfits.
By now everyone in this office knows I have a slight (well, major) obsession with bracelets. Meaning I’m going to have to invest in a small closet just to house all of my #armparty accessories. This spiked version from Devora Libin is the perfect hardcore piece to complement my feisty personality.
I just bought these and already know I'm going to wear them all the time. They're in a neutral bone color so they go with everything, but the texture makes them interesting and fun. And as far as heels go, these are surprisingly comfortable.
I love searching Etsy for fun and unique jewelry to update my wardrobe each season. I'm obsessed with the bits and bobs that seller ThereThere offers, and think this little necklace will be a nice edgy touch to my floral dresses this spring.
