Carine Roitfeld's New Magazine Is Called CR Fashion Book: We Shop the Editor's Signature Look

Since her exit from French Vogue in January 2011, Carine Roitfeld has flitted between high profile freelance jobs—such as a book with Karl Lagerfeld and an ad campaign for Barneys—while developing a new fashion magazine. Finally, the famous editor has released further details about the publication, including that it will be called "CR Fashion Book" (the "CR" is her initials) and the first copy debuts in September.
Each biannual issue will center around a central theme or "obsession" and cost $9.99. Although that might seem a bit steep at first, consider that this is no ordinary glossy: the first edition is projected to have 288 pages, about half of those advertisements. However, unlike most magazines, Carine has insisted that all campaigns are double pages spreads, echoing the rest of the magazine's content.
Most of the articles will be written in English, but there will be some pieces in other languages, with translations in the back. Additional content will also be available on a corresponding website, which Roitfeld told WWD will serve as "'the perfect platform' for front-of-book content across fashion, art and culture."
In honor of Carine's big announcement, we're paying homage to her signature style—a glamourous brand of French-girl cool we've admired for years. Click through the slideshow below to see the four key pieces she consistently wears and then shop them for yourself.
