Create the Perfect Pair of Oxfords With Shoes of Prey
Love the menswear-inspired look of dapper, classic brogues? Ever dreamed of being a footwear designer? Then you'll be happy to learn that Shoes of Prey has added customizable oxfords to its roster of offerings.
For those not yet familiar, the Australia-based company allows customers to build their very own pair of shoes from the ground up—you can hand-select everything from the color of the sole to the texture of the laces. Previously, sandals, ankle booties, ballet flats and pumps were available for customization—but we're thrilled they've added oxfords to the menu. For just $180, you can cover your pair in striped cotton, patent leather, suede, ponyhair, snakeskin...anything, really.
Overwhelmed with the design possibilities, I stuck to a simple black-and-white color palette and crafted a simple two-tone wingtip style. But I'd love to see what you more adventurous readers could whip up. Head over to Shoesofprey.com to make your own oxfords, and share your designs in the comments or via Twitter!
