Lucky Loves: Don’t Trust the B----in Apt 23's Dreama Walker

You probably think Dreama Walker looks familiar (after all, she's had supporting roles on shows like Gossip Girl and The Good Wife). But you won't forget her after seeing Don’t Trust the B---- in Apt 23, which premieres tomorrow night on ABC at 9:30/8:30c.

Walker plays June, a naive midwestern girl who moves to Manhattan to live out her dreams—until a psycho roommate (Krysten Ritter), intent on screwing her out of her life's savings, gets in the way. (And ultimately finds out that while Walker's character may be sweet, she's not stupid.)

The show also stars Dawson Creek’s James Van Der Beek as himself. But working with the former teen heartthrob didn't faze Walker, who had actually never seen the show. “My mom was like, 'you’re not watching naked teenagers,'" she says. "But I’m thankful now because I know James as James and not Dawson."

Walker's role in Don’t Trust the B----in Apt 23 is definitely a change-up from the conniving character she played so convincingly on The Good Wife. “It’s great to play June because she’s so likeable. I’m happy to play the good girl again,” Walker says. “I’m in that phase where I am not in the billboard so I’m going around in no makeup. Life is really cool right now."

We don't expect her under-the-radar status to last long: Considering the huge buzz around the show, it's just a matter of time before paparazzi are popping out of the bushes to take her picture.

"I just got a monogram necklace. I wear it everyday."
