Marchesa Has a More Affordable Collection in the Works

Celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence, Blake Lively and Sarah Jessica Parker love luxe eveningwear label Marchesa's richly embellished dresses. And now, us mere mortals may finally stand a chance of wearing Marchesa creations of our own. The brand's designers, Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, are in talks to launch a contemporary line, according to WWD.
Though exact details (like specific prices, retailers and a launch date) haven't yet been released, investment company LF USA is reportedly backing Marchesa's new line. And while Craig and Chapman's slightly lower-priced Notte collection offers Marchesa's trademark gowns and cocktail looks priced in the high hundreds, we're happy that the duo's designs will soon be even more accessible. Prom-goers, start your engines.
