PajamaRama: It's National Wear Your Pajamas to Work Day

I've already not so gently suggested you buy Piamita's entire spring collection. But since today is National Wear Your Pajamas to Work Day, I'm revisiting this whole notion of wearing drapey PJ tops and drawstring pants for occasions more fancy than watching Girls in a saran-wrapped hair mask.

If those sleepwear-style separates are really pretty—like Piamita's stuff, and the other totally different things in the slideshow below—you can actually wear them to work for the other 364 days of the year. And still look totally normal. If it's presentable, and totally comfortable, why not?

I like the idea of pairing it with stiff, heavy jeans.

...and a similar, short-sleeved version.

Not flannel but just as cozy.

Of course Equipment has a version.

The punchy color pushes it a little higher on the office-appropriate scale.

Feels a little bit '50s.

It's got a glamorous dressing robe vibe without the costume-y aspect.

Toughen it up with a military jacket or a belted trenchcoat.

The stripes are prime for a little print-mixing action.
