The Met Gala's Red Carpet Will be Livestreamed This Year

So apparently our ticket to the Met Gala got lost in the mail this year—big-time bummer. If you're in the same boat though, you might be excited to learn that this year's so-called "Fashion Oscars" will be livestreamed online for the first time ever. On May 7, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, you can log on to Vogue.com, Amazon.com or Metmuseum.org to watch the glamorous A-list arrivals from the comfort of your couch (or office desk).
What's more, Vogue contributor William Norwich and model Elettra Wiedemann will be on hand to interview celebs as they walk the carpet, and viewers can submit questions for them via Twitter by using the hashtag #metquestions. Plus, the evening's as-yet-undisclosed musical performance (any guesses, people?) will be livestreamed. Best of all, you'll be able to watch all of the above while wearing pajamas. Who needs uncomfortable couture?
