Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg Got Married
On Saturday, the day after taking Facebook public, Mark Zuckerberg got married. The day after that, he updated his Facebook Timeline, of course, with a photo of himself and bride Priscilla Chan, his girlfriend of nine years.
As Facebook's founder, Zuckerberg must know that aside from scrolling through semi-friends' thinly veiled, bragg-y status updates, a significant chunk of Facebook's fun is outfit judging the photos people post. Like this one.
My eyes first shot to the groom's outfit instead of the bride's, but that's just because I thought Zuckerberg might not own anything to put on his torso that doesn't have a hood flapping down the back. Yet he looks polished and so does Chan, who wore a $4,700 dress from designer Claire Pettibone. I like it—but I especially like the way it looks coupled with a veil. At first I thought Priscilla was wearing sleeves for part of the ceremony, but it's really just her veil falling in front of her arms. I sorta prefer it in front like this, though—it's sweet.
