Lucky Listens: Class Actress

For the past month, I haven't been able to stop listening to Class Actress' Rapprocher (French for "to come closer," in case you were wondering). Released last year, the album's synth-heavy vibe gets its dreamy vocals from frontwoman Elizabeth Harper, whose dark, tousled hair and sultry physique make her a modern-day Brooklyn pin-up.
Harper may have gotten her start singing in coffeehouses, but now, her songs' '80s-style appeal and utter danceability are earning her Madonna comparisons. Check out Class Actress' video for "Bienvenue" below, and then shop some pieces inspired by the French-tinged, masculine-meets-feminine style she wears so well in the clip (and in her day-to-day life, too).
