Alexa Chung Channels a '60s Film Star in Maje's Fall Campaign
Maje just announced that Alexa Chung is starring in its Fall 2012 campaign. The ads will officially debut in the September issues of various publications and these two pretty pictures have already hit the interwebs.
Shot by Glen Luchford, each image features the model/television presenter/designer from the shoulders up with rumpled hair and minimal makeup. No actual clothes are visible—save for a tiny glimpse of her textured sweater—but we are pretty sure we'd love everything she has on.
According to WWD, the photographs were taken in Paris at the Porte des Lilas subway station and aim to "evoke a Sixties film heroine"—a reoccurring theme for the label, which launched a line if T-shirts printed with Brigitte Bardot's face earlier this spring. What do you think of Alexa's latest gig? Does the it-Brit make you want to buy an outfit you can't actually see?
