Karl Lagerfeld Makes a One-of-a-Kind Emerald Set Collar That Costs $37,500

Karl Lagerfeld surprised us today by announcing a new project that, unlike his collaborations with Snoop Dogg and AgustaWestland, has some actual context. After featuring several stand-alone collars in the re-launch of his namesake line, the designer has created a similar, one-of-a-kind style from very luxe materials.

The fancy leather neckpiece—which is bedazzled with black diamond pavé and a 22.33 carat emerald—is now available on Net-a-porter.com for $37,500. If you decide to indulge in the decadent accessory, you'll also receive a Kaiser-signed sketch, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to children's cancer charity CLIC Sargent. There's no denying the collar is really pretty to look at (AND for a good cause!) so, if you don't need all that money for like...a house or something, click here to check it out now.
