OCD Facial, Part 2
The night after a photoshoot is when my skincare OCD really shines. Last night after shoot I did for an upcoming issue of the magazine, I hit the medicine cabinet pretty hard in search of anything that might prevent new blemishes from appearing below that thick layer of foundation and powder I wore all day. So here's my new version of a sensitive skin-safe OCD facial. All of the packaging is oddly color coordinating, which was unintentional. DO try this at home and tweet at me, @RaySiegel, to let me know how it goes.
This cleanser is super gentle and specializes in makeup removal. I applied it to my Clarisonic, which exfoliates while cleansing.
I ferociously searched the mask section of my medicine cabinet for labels with all of these words in it: Clarity, calm and restoring. Bingo! Everything I need to happen after a long day in makeup.
Since my face felt a bit irritated, I thought it best not to skip the conditioning serum on a night like this.
Since I sort of suffer from moisture-phobia and was already over-doing it with the multiple masks, I chose a light, oil-free moisturizer that I could really load up on.
Put this on at the end of this crazy routine ten minutes before you plan to go to sleep for the night. Wake up feeling moisturized. Tried and true.
