Shop It Out: Rock of Ages

The big-screen adaptation of hit Broadway musical Rock of Ages is finally in theaters—and if you're a fan of '80s music legends like Journey, Whitesnake and Foreigner, you won't want to miss it. The fun-filled (if wildly unrealistic) tale of two crazy kids chasing their Hollywood dreams in an age of excess, the flick stars Tom Cruise as an often-shirtless stage god, Catherine Zeta-Jones as a conservative housewife waging war against the rock scene, Alec Baldwin as a floppy-haired nightclub owner and Malin Ackerman as an intrepid Rolling Stone reporter.

In addition to hits like "I Want to Know What Love Is" and "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," the campy summer movie also serves up some pretty fantastic costumes. And while you might not be up for wearing bandana headbands like Cruise's Stacee Jaxx or metallic cowboy boots like Julianne Hough's protagonist Sherrie Christian, it's easy to introduce elements of '80s-era glamour into your own wardrobe.
