Shop It Out: The Spice Girls
In case you missed the memo—and to be honest, even we sort of did—a Spice Girls musical called Viva Forever! is set to debut in London's West End this coming November. Written by Absolutely Fabulous funnywoman Jennifer Saunders and brought to us by Mamma Mia! producer Judy Craymer, the show is described on its official website as "a wonderfully joyous contemporary musical about the value of friendship in the face of fame and fortune." Or, you know, exactly what Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm and Emma Bunton likely dealt with as their catchy singles topped international charts and made them overnight sensations.
Being unabashed fans of the quintet's 1997 feature film Spice World (don't kid yourselves—you all saw it too), we're tempted to start saving up now for a plane ticket across the pond to see the UK pop stars' stage spectacular when it opens. But until then, we'll settle for some shopping picks inspired by each band member's style, which you can check out in the gallery below. And for your viewing pleasure, we've even thrown in some of their best '90s-era photo ops of all time.
Oh, and that image above? That'd be the fabulous fivesome snapped just two days ago at a photocall at London's St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel—the very same venue where the group shot their 1996 video for "Wannabe." We think the Spice Girls—and their feel-good pop tunes—haven't aged a day.

Our favorite ladies at the 1997 MTV VMAs.
To channel Posh in her pre-Mrs. Beckham years, all you need is a bandeau dress, gilded extras and a few flashy logos.
You guys, Posh is actually smiling in this photo (from the 1997 Brit Awards)! Someone alert the media!
Ginger sure did love that Union Jack motif.
The gang at the 1995 Brit Awards. This may be the first time we've ever seen crushed velvet, sequins, glitter, leopard spots and op-art prints all in the same photograph.
Sporty Spice always had the comfiest wardrobe out of all the girls. Think pieces you might wear to the gym—if you were looking to impress every guy there.
A full 15 years after this photo was taken, we still can't figure out why Mel B. chose to wear those "hair cones" on her head.
From pastels to glitter, nothing's off-limits for a Baby Spice ensemble as long as you keep the whole look tooth-achingly sweet.
We'd say our life is now sufficiently spiced.
Pick something patchworked, something leopard-spotted and something freakishly spiked—and then wear them all together. Hello, Mel B!
