Banana Republic Designed Virgin America's New Uniforms

After hosting a Banana Republic fashion show on one of their in-flight planes, Virgin America's doing perhaps the next most natural thing: teaming up with the brand on a collection of uniforms.
Starting August 8, Virgin America employees—about 2,000 of them—will wear new Banana Republic-designed outfits. Thanks to candy apple red cardigans and skinny belts, slick black leather jackets, pencil skirts and patterned ascots, the uniforms smack of mid-century mod flavor. But while the head-to-toe looks should make fun, stylized additions to the Virgin America employees' wardrobes, their mileage doesn't end there.
For non-Virgin-employees, Banana Republic's producing pieces inspired by the uniforms, which will be shoppable both in their stores and on Virgin America flights starting August 7.
