Home Inspiration: Paris in Color

Those last few episodes of Sex and the City, dozens of rom-coms and thousands of paintings: lots of people have tried to bottle Paris's beauty or make it look more alluring and electric than it already is. Which is not very easy.

Still, Nichole Robertson has turned the city's prettiness more palatable, just in the way she organized her new photography book, Paris in Color.

Like the trays of macarons at the famous Laudurée patisserie, the book groups its city life snapshots into polite little color categories (bubblegum pink mopeds, lemon tarts, mint metro signs). Enhanced by cohesion, the book's a feast of color-coordinated vignettes— or, in a phrase, it's eye candy.

Of course, if you can't decide on a color in particular, you could get the whole rainbow in one tidy package by buying the book here and resting it on your coffee table—next to some macarons and a café crème, of course.

Save pink for little touches, like this kooky coffee maker or the most feminine map we've ever seen.
