Karlie Kloss Wants You to Stop Texting and Driving

This morning, I was walking to the office and nearly committed a cardinal New York City sin: walking into somebody on the sidewalk because my head was down while texting. There's nothing more shaming than disregarding the urban laws of the sidewalk here, so I kept my head up for the rest of the walk. Walking and texting is one thing, but driving and texting, come on, get right, that's dumb. If there's one place to stay focused. it's behind the wheel. And that's why Karlie Kloss has teamed up with with DoSomething.org's "Thumb Wars" campaign along with Sprint and Toyota.

The message is simple: teens need to stop texting and driving. All anybody has to do is sign up at DoSomething.org and they'll get a pair of thumb socks to distribute to anybody who tends to text and drive and needs something to deter her from doing so.  Afterward, pictures can be uploaded to the campaign website to help spread the message even further. So if you're a mother, father, brother, sister, friend, girlfriend, boyfriend, BFF, BFFAE, roommate, wizarding familiar, please take part. Karlie Kloss wants you to.
