Lucky Stars: Marion Cotillard in Christian Dior

The Dark Knight Rises is one of the buzziest movies of the summer. And for good reason: with an amazing cast including Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Liam Neeson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard, and prolific director Christopher Nolan running the show, this superhero movie is promised to be a hit. But, I’d be lying if I said I was as excited to see the movie as I was to see the black carpet looks.

Naturally, Marion Cotillard exceeded my high expectations. In an ethereal Christian Dior Haute Couture dress and killer Christian Louboutin sandals, Cotillard (the face of Dior) looked the part of a leading lady. The illusion boat-neckline, sequined bodice and whimsical ruffles of the skirt give the dress an overall look of angelic grace, while the statement spiked sandals added a bit of sexiness. An elegant chignon accents stunning Chopard earrings, bringing attention the French beauty’s timeless face.
