Nike Flyknits: Even More Futuristic Than the Marty McFly's
The third round of Nike's HTM Flyknit shoes are indeed available in some very "fly" colorways, but in this case it's the technology that should be respected. The Nike Flyknit effectively eliminates the the traditional cut, sew and glue method that's typically used to make sneakers. THIS IS A SNEAKER THAT HAS BEEN KNITTED TOGETHER, GUYS, and they're faster, more form-fitting and better at responding to the natural movement of your own feet. And if comfort is at all a concern (we only care about the way it looks), Nike’s signature Lunarlon cushioning system is built in. Japanese designer-musician-producer Hiroshi Fujiwara and Nike's Tinker Hatfield have outdone themselves on this one.
In honor of the Olympic games, two additional styles from this ongoing collaboration will be available starting today in the London flagship. If you don't live anywhere near London, you can cop a pair for $150 in a Nike store near you this August. Peep the new colors right here.
